Release Roundup: July 31, 2026 - Pirates, Firefighters, and Batman
Corsair Cove leads a strategy-heavy Friday, with a co-op Batman party game and more
A strategy-leaning Friday closes out July. Corsair Cove takes the top spot with a pirate-themed sim, backed by an emergency response RTS, a co-op Batman party game, and a survival builder on Switch. Here's what's out today.
Corsair Cove#
Limbic Entertainment's Corsair Cove is the day's standout. It's a mix of Simulator, Strategy, and Turn-based strategy built around running your own pirate haven. You'll build out a sprawling base, raise a fleet to explore the high seas, and eventually take on the Crown to keep the Age of Piracy alive.
Expect plenty of depth in the management layer: the game leans on complex production chains that cover everything from ale to flintlock pistols, plus governing a rowdy crew of scallywags and swashbucklers. It's PC only for now. If you like base-building with a strategy backbone and a theme with some personality, this is the one to watch today.
Alarm112: Fire Unit#
Control Room Labs brings Alarm112: Fire Unit, a Real Time Strategy and Simulator hybrid focused on fire rescue operations. You receive emergency calls, dispatch units, and make critical decisions under pressure across a realistic emergency response setup.
It scratches a very specific itch: the tension of coordinating a response in real time rather than commanding armies. On PC, this one's aimed squarely at sim fans who want stakes without the combat.

Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles#
Blazing Griffin's Batman: Caped Crusader - Chronicles is a cooperative party game for 1 to 4 players, tied to the Batman: Caped Crusader animated series. It's a Puzzle game set in the show's noir-drenched Gotham, where every alley hides a secret and every case leads deeper into the city's criminal underworld.
The solo-to-four-player range makes it flexible for a group night or a quiet evening cracking cases on your own. A good pick if you want cooperative puzzle-solving with a strong atmosphere.
Also out today#
Ocean Shark Survival: Float Home Builder Simulator lands on Switch as a Simulator and Arcade title built around building, crafting, and fighting to stay alive each day. Details are light, but it's there for Switch players after a straightforward survival builder.
