Today is all about PC indies, with five new games landing across platforming, action-RPG, puzzle, and survival territory. Angel Essence takes top billing with its retro-inspired 3D platforming, but there's a solid spread of genres to dig into. Here's what's out.
Angel Essence#
G3bsoft's Angel Essence is a retro-inspired 3D platformer that puts you in the shoes of treasure hunter Angelique as she ascends to a heavenly realm. The pitch leans hard into movement: a deep system built around fast, fluid combos, with surreal foes to battle and secrets buried across an expansive world.

Cat Gladiator#
Funleeks Studio describes Cat Gladiator as "cute yet hardcore," a 2D Monster Hunter-style action game where you fight arena boss battles as, yes, a cat gladiator. The hook is 4-player online co-op backed by a wide selection of weapons, armors, and items.
The weapons follow an "easy to learn but hard to master" philosophy, so expect a skill curve behind the cute exterior. Grab three friends and charge in.
Cloudrooms#
LIGHTWORKER GAMES delivers a puzzle-adventure with a strong atmospheric premise. In Cloudrooms, you're trapped in a corridor suspended above the clouds with a single door at the end. Each time you open it, the environment changes. Your job: explore, find anomalies, use the alarm, and break the loop.
Anomaly-hunting loop games have carved out a dedicated niche, and this one adds a puzzle-simulator spin.
Cobalt Miner#
Digital Deer Studio sets Cobalt Miner in a futuristic 2046 USA where a megacorporation owns your debt. It's a survival simulator with automation at its core: mine cobalt, automate production, craft machines, and explore a dying world. You can also ride an electric bike across vast pixel-art wastelands.
The framing is blunt - pay what you owe or disappear - and it should appeal to fans of automation and survival crafting.
Colossus: Eternal Blight#
Rounding things out, Rustic Panda Games brings Colossus: Eternal Blight, an atmospheric pixel action-adventure with a dark fantasy setup. Your brother is corrupted, the Blight is spreading, and only you can stop it. The focus is on precise combat, exploration across the kingdom of Eireos, and choices that permanently scar the world.
A strong fit if you like your action-RPGs on the darker, consequence-heavy end.
