In 2045, an insect-like alien species from the Sirius star system launched a devastating assault on Earth, causing a planetary winter and killing a third of the human population. The attack dissolved all national borders, uniting humanity under a single defence force known as the Fist of Earth. Operating from SolBase, a military station orbiting the Sun, the organisation dispatches a lone pilot in the FOE-57 fighter craft on a series of missions to repel the Sirian threat and safeguard what remains of civilisation.
