The Night Museum

Step into the shoes of a lowly night clerk at The Night Museum, a mysterious place filled with eerie artefacts, unsettling oddities, and, more recently, something far worse. The job starts simple enough: sell tickets, collect money, and make sure patrons leave in one piece. But as the nights go on, the exhibits become more... lively.

As the night attendant, your job is fairly straightforward. Collect money, issue tickets, and keep the museum presentable. But when things go wrong, and they will, you'll need to clean up the mess before the manager notices. Pools of blood, vomit, and worse. It's all part of the job. Just be careful...

Your responsibilities may seem mundane, but one mistake could cost you more than your job. With each shift, the museum grows darker, the rules become stricter, and survival is no longer guaranteed. Will you last until morning, or will you become just another exhibit?

• First-Person Perspective: Fully immerse yourself in the dread as you navigate the claustrophobic museum halls.
• Retro-Inspired Horror: Low-poly visuals and a 4:3 default aspect ratio captures the feel of classic horror. Optional widescreen mode and post-processing filters (VHS and greyscale) enhance the nostalgic terror.
• Five Nights of Terror: Survive five increasingly difficult nights as new, more dangerous exhibits are added. Additional tasks will complicate your routine. Stay sharp.
• Manage the Night Shift: Take tickets, handle cash, keep the guests calm, and maintain order. Your performance is being watched at all times.
• Multiple Endings: Your mistakes will be punished. Severely. Slip up too many times, and you won’t just lose your job.
• Endless Night: Unlock a never-ending challenge after completing the main game. Additional mechanics both help and hinder you as you attempt to survive the Endless Night.
• Hint System: Get simple instructions before each shift, along with subtle hints if you fail. New items are highlighted as they appear, and on-screen text provides additional guidance as you play.
• Steam Achievements: There are a total of 24 Steam Achievements to attain. Can you get them all?

This is your chance. Work hard, follow orders, and do whatever it takes to survive your time at The Night Museum. The manager has high expectations... and very little patience.

Completion Time

Completing all tasks and reading all of the available documents during the 5 nights of the main game takes an average of one and a half hours. For players aiming to find all endings and attain 100% of the achievements, the experience extends to approximately 3-4 hours.
