Design, expand, and manage a network of space stations across Earth orbit and beyond. In Space Station Designer, you’ll take the lead of a private aerospace company, managing astronauts and logistics, unlocking advanced technologies, and shaping the future of humanity in space.
Space Station Designer is a construction and management game where you become the CEO of a private aerospace company, in charge of creating and operating a thriving network of orbital outposts.
Begin with a single core module in Low Earth orbit and gradually extend your operations into higher Earth and Lunar orbits. Design self-sustaining stations, manage astronauts and logistics, unlock advanced technologies, and help shape humanity’s space economy.
Your ultimate ambition? Construct and operate a Lunar Space Elevator Megaproject.
Space Station Designer features three game modes:
Every station is fully modular and assembled piece by piece.
From compact orbital outposts to sprawling industrial hubs, every design decision influences operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Success in orbit requires more than just engineering.
As the CEO of a private space company, you'll perform a wide range of activities including recruiting and managing astronauts, building and installing modules, providing commercial services, manufacturing goods, commercializing industrial R&D technologies, accommodating space tourists, leasing modules, and a lot more.
Whether you specialize in manufacturing, commercial services, or space tourism – or pursue a diversified strategy – your company’s direction is entirely yours to define.
Developed by the creators of Buzz Aldrin’s Space Program Manager and inspired by NASA concepts and decades of space exploration literature, Space Station Designer presents a grounded and optimistic vision of humanity’s future in space.
If you enjoy city builders, management games, and space exploration, Space Station Designer offers a deep and interconnected simulation of life, logistics, and industry in orbit.
