A single salmon spent its days roaming the ocean, waiting for the day it would return upstream. But one day, its fate was cut short far too easily. A violent pull, a white deck—and then… darkness. When it awoke, this place was neither ocean nor river. Under cold, artificial light stood a transparent display case. Its body was no longer a single fish—it had been packaged as a fillet. To the left and right, piles of identical fillets. No matter how much it called out, none responded. They were nothing more than “products,” unable to move or think. —Why am I the only one? With an unanswered question in its mind, the salmon tears through the plastic wrap and leaps out of the case. Even though its body is now just a fillet, the memory of upstream migration remains. To return to its birthplace—the river. The salmon’s migration begins once again, right here.
