You are an Archivist, a Class-D convict working in Data Retention at the SCP Foundation’s newest research facility. It’s probably 1976, but Amnestic drugs are designed to reset your memories, so that’s just a guess.

Site-48 sits empty. If there was a containment breach of Antimemetic anomalies, would you even remember?

Antimemetic Data Retention is a program designed to try and keep track of ideas and research that do their best to erase themselves from perception and memory. Unthinkables.

How can you study something if you don’t remember it exists? Your job is to see things the universe doesn’t want you to see, though this eventually leads to a condition known as "Conceptual Burnout."

• Collect retro-analog SCP tech to sterilize Burnouts, repel predatory Anomalies, and survive this containment breach.

• Take memory-wiping Amnestics to heal your own burnout, and use the experimental Mnestic Rebreather Mask to investigate forgotten concepts and reveal hidden artifacts.

• Track down and incinerate dangerous Cognitohazards to earn facility Credits.
