A dark fantasy turn-based strategy game about competing for territory and assets. Command unique units, disrupt enemy advances, and expand your power. Features five factions, five AI difficulty levels, and local two-player battles.
Scorched Dominion is a turn-based strategy game in which two factions compete for territory and assets across a tactical board.
Victory is not achieved simply by defeating your enemies. Push the front line forward with your warriors, expand your territory, and use farmers and merchants to generate assets. Your controlled territory and the assets held by your units combine to form your Power. The first faction to reach the target Power wins.
You can command up to three units each turn. Every unit moves first, then performs one of its unique actions.
Will you use a warrior to drive the enemy back? Return a farmer to the safety of your territory to produce assets? Or send a merchant to the front line to buy territory?
How you spend your limited actions can decisively change the course of battle.
Command a diverse roster of units, including warriors, archers, barbarians, farmers, hunters, wizards, merchants, spies, rogues, nobles, and dragons.
Claim territory, produce assets, attack from range, bind enemy units, rob opponents, buy territory, and break through the front line. Combine each unit's abilities to forge your own path to victory.
Each playable faction features a different unit composition and style of play.
Mellonil: A well-balanced faction with strong offense, production, and mobility.
Gilfan: A faction focused on generating assets through its farmers.
Parther: A faction that controls the battlefield through magic and disruption.
Lotherym: A powerful faction built around its dragon.
Harasal: A faction specializing in rapid assaults and breaking through the front line.
Study your opponent's composition, make the most of your faction's strengths, and exploit their weaknesses.
The opening is a struggle for control of the scorched lands at the center of the board. In the midgame, large units clash as both sides fight to advance the front line. In the endgame, the battle becomes a race to accumulate enough territory and assets to reach the target Power.
Will you take an immediate advantage or invest in production several turns ahead? Stop your opponent from winning while planning the sequence of moves that will bring your faction to its goal.
