Red Rampant

Red Rampant is a narrative-driven action-adventure game set during the Scottish Wars of Independence and Robert the Bruce's struggle for the Scottish crown. The default outcome is crushing annihilation for the fledgling Scottish rebellion, but through the enigmatic Rewind Potion gifted by The Alchemist, players can reverse defeat and steal victory. With the ability to travel back in time through memories of previous gameplay, players use knowledge gained from past mistakes and hindsight of future events to rewrite history.

Red Rampant respects history while embracing the mythological wrappings of Robert the Bruce's iconic underdog tale. Players explore a grounded, war-torn Scotland and discover moments of the fantastical. Navigating this war-weary landscape, players face a guerrilla campaign against the medieval world's greatest military force, with Bruce's ego making enemies in every corner of the country. Some choices promise hope, others bring the blackest doom.
