Hookah Haze is a visual novel developed by Acquire and published by Aniplex. The player takes the role of a terminally ill protagonist, whose final wish is to manage a hookah lounge. Through this new job, they meet various patrons and bond with them through hookah. The game has been compared to VA-11 Hall-A and Coffee Talk by critics.
In the year 2XXX, on the quiet outskirts of Akihabara, a new hookah lounge called "Hookah Haze" opens its doors.
As the new manager, Toru Sumiki, you will engage in heartfelt conversations with a variety of unique and colorful patrons, gradually discovering changes within your own heart. Enjoy serene and tranquil nights while immersing yourself in these captivating interactions.
・ Experience the individual stories of each heroine, with a total gameplay time of around 10 hours. ・The heroines visiting the lounge will change based on the recommended recipes shared on social media. ・Each heroine's story has multiple endings influenced by the choices made throughout the game. ・Achieve the happy endings for all three heroines to unlock new endings and discover more about the story.
"Anything you want to try doing?" The protagonist, Toru Sumiki, loses the will to live after being diagnosed with a fatal illness. Toru's doctor insists they should make the most of the little time they have left, and they sign on as a temporary manager of a hookah lounge.
Through this new job, Toru meets three very unusual girls. Although cheerful at a glance, they're battling with work problems or past trauma, searching for a place to belong. As Toru begins to bond with them through hookah, what will they find once the girls fully open up?

Toru Sumiki
25 years old. Blood type: AB Hookah Haze's temporary manager. Has a tendency to give up on their own desires and put others before themself. Loves hookah and fish tanks.
Enjoy a unique story not found in the main game. Live through two days in the hookah lounge, with different outcomes based on the patrons who visit.
