Heroes of Loot: Gauntlet of Power is all about the weapons!
As you hold the mythical Gauntlet of Power you gain the ability to mount weapons in eight directions to protect and mow down the many dangers lurking in the dungeons. Max up your weapons, mount modifiers, combine weapons to create new weapons, or create weapon-unions for even more exotic powers as you explore the weapon tree!
All wrapped up in a fast paced, randomly generated action RPG shooter with dungeon crawling and Rogue-like elements.
You are a weathered adventurer descending the Heroes of Loot Dungeons, be it Elf, Wizard, Warrior or Valkyrie, on a mission to sort out this dungeon and its creepy crawly horde of monsters. Collect loot to power up your newfound Gauntlet.
Locate mysterious items that aid you on this power trip as you go deeper into the belly of the beast: unlock a host of weapons, uncover secret rooms, run into Monks handing you quests, or purchase new gadgets from various shops in the dungeon!
Top-down view, run around the dungeon killing critters that spawn around you. Clear room by room, find treasure rooms, shop rooms, quest rooms and secret rooms.
Killed critters drop coins, blue gems, or purple gems. Collected loot goes to your XP bar, and when it fills up, you level up and your Gauntlet of Power gains a new weapon. Select one out of three random options and mount it in one out of eight directions. Either level up existing weapons or mount new weapons on empty slots.
Special weapon combinations and unions exist but must be discovered as you play - mounting 2 weapons next to each other might make them cling together and become a new weapon. For example, adding a knife on a Level 6 Arrow will turn it into an "Assassins arrow" weapon.
You'll also find items throughout the dungeon. Some are instantly effective when picked up, others are "Active" items and you can only carry one at a time. Active items require Pink or Blue gems to power-up before use. Some active items trigger automatically when powered-up, others require manual activation.
An average game run is about 20-25 minutes, a full dungeon run plus final boss defeat takes about 60 minutes. Each game is different and unique.
