Gunscape

Overview

Inspired by classic first-person shooters, Gunscape is an FPS construction kit that lets you create and share custom levels. It provides easy-to-use tools based on a block-placement interface to build single-player campaigns, co-op maps, and multiplayer arenas. Don't want to build? Play and vote on maps created by the community - you'll always have new levels to explore.

Content and Themes

The game is organized into themes from across FPS history, from early classics to modern shooters. Each theme set contains unique world-building blocks, player models, enemies and bosses, music tracks, skyboxes, special level elements like traps and teleporters, and 38+ weapons including guns, bombs, bats, swords, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and rocket launchers. Assets from different sets can be freely combined when building your worlds.

Design Philosophy

Gunscape aims to make level creation accessible to everyone, inspired by the simplicity of classic Doom and Build engine editors. Skilled creators can build impressive architecture, while newcomers can still create enjoyable challenges thanks to a focused, fun core gameplay experience.

Game Modes

• Single-player campaigns: play or create sequences or branching trees of levels with optional story
• Co-op mode: invite friends to tackle dedicated co-op maps or increase difficulty on single-player maps
• Multiplayer arenas: build maps with spawn points and powerups for online action
