ESCAPE ROOM: GONE MAN is a micro horror room escape game. You will be a private detective, travelling back to the 1893 British town, to investigate the truth behind years of unsolved cases. Faced with the mass clues, standing at the crossroads of the cruel truth, what choice will you make?
The game transports you back to England in the 1890s, where confusion, unrest, and restlessness filled the entire 1893 Dickens town. You are a private detective who heads to an abandoned house to investigate an unsolved case from ten years ago after receiving a mysterious letter.
Explore the abandoned mansion in first-person perspective. Collect clues and discover the truth by examining locked closets, mysterious symbols, rustling radios, and scattered pieces around the house. Interact with various objects as if in a real escape room to uncover secrets hidden behind disappearing portraits.
A wealthy businessman's family lived in the mansion until an unfortunate event: diagnosed with cancer, he turned to a local cult organization claiming to have a cure. Their "medicine" was only incense containing hallucinogenic substances. Due to excessive use, the businessman's wife went insane and committed suicide. The businessman himself became insane as well.
The cult converted the mansion's basement into a psychedelic mushroom farm and prepared a ritual sacrifice. They tempted the businessman with promises of eternal life in exchange for becoming the sacrifice, using the flesh and blood of his loved ones in a ceremony to summon Satan. The ritual "succeeded," and everyone saw their own version of Satan.
When you arrive to investigate, psychedelic gases from the continuous mushroom propagation still fill the mansion. Under their influence, you witness supernatural phenomena - ghosts, undead, and the businessman transformed into a lump of flesh. Previous police investigators went insane from the gas, and the case was abandoned.
