Crash-landed on the hostile alien world of Hastaris centuries ago, survival remains a way of life. In Coloniser, an epic-scale multiplayer real-time strategy game inspired by classic isometric RTS titles, building a colony is earned.
Players are thrown into massive, persistent online worlds shared with rival tribes and hostile wildlife. Govern a colony whose way of life has been shaped through years of conflict and desire for dominance. The safest place is rarely where you begin, and early decisions can mean the difference between establishing a foothold or being wiped out before your story truly begins.
Only those who survive the early struggle will live long enough to build, advance through eras, and shape the future of Hastaris. Upon entering a server, players must contend with dangerous spawn zones, roaming threats, and other players competing for the same land and resources.
Finding defensible terrain, managing limited resources, and knowing when to stay hidden or move on are critical to survival. Poor positioning can leave your colony vulnerable not only while you play, but even while you're offline. Only after securing defensible terrain, stabilizing resources, and weathering early conflict can true expansion begin.
Once your foothold is secure, Coloniser opens into a deep base-building and strategic experience. Develop your settlement, research new technologies, and shape your colony's identity as you progress through eras. Whether you fortify your borders, dominate key resources, or maneuver through alliances and betrayals, every expansion is a calculated risk in a living, player-driven world.
Hastaris is home to many competing tribes, each defined by their origins, beliefs, and approach to survival. Some guard ancient crash sites and cling to fading hopes of rescue. Others roam the planet as nomads, adapting constantly to its dangers. Some reject advanced technology entirely, seeking harmony with the land itself. These tribes rise, fall, and clash across each server, forming shifting alliances and rivalries. No two worlds develop the same way, as your actions contribute to the evolving political and cultural landscape of Hastaris.
Coloniser features massive, persistent RTS servers that evolve over weeks. Up to 30 players share a single world where territory is contested, resources are finite, and the game does not pause when you log off. Alliances can shift, borders can fall, and unprotected colonies can be erased.
Current game modes include: Extinction (lead your tribe to dominance in a sprawling open-world RTS experience) and Conquest (protect your leader, the Justiciar, and your main building, the Capitol, to survive).
These persistent servers support large-scale conflicts, diplomacy, trade, and coordinated warfare. Strategic foresight and teamwork are essential - survival is never guaranteed.
