An 8-bit side-scrolling shooter faithfully ported to Steam. Originally created as a completely new title for NES ROM cartridges, this Steam edition includes both the NES version and the FC version, which feature different stories.
Six stages themed after cities around the world, plus space. The super-variable robot "Estique" can transform at any time between "Fighter Form" (small vertical hitbox) and "Robot Form" (nullifies terrain damage, excels at recovery). Mastering strategic switching between these two forms and two types of equipment is key to clearing the game.
The scoring system utilizes the "Super Weapon" special attack, activated by rapid-firing the shot button. With a life system that regenerates over time and the removal of power-ups, the game prioritizes accessibility for everyone from beginners to advanced players.
In the year 2413, Earth was invaded by evil space pirates "Van-De-Raus" who dominate five major economic cities and control the world economy. The friendly planet Petelgeuse sends ace pilots Mary and Kanon riding on ESTIQUE to save Earth.
