A modern classic tile-placement game based on the award-winning board game. Players draw and place tiles featuring pieces of southern French landscape. Each tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland, or some combination thereof, and must be placed adjacent to tiles already played so that cities connect to cities, roads to roads, and so on.
Players can then decide to place one of their followers, called Meeples, on one of the areas: on the city as a knight, on the road as a robber, on a cloister as a monk, or on the grass as a farmer. When an area is complete, that meeple scores points for its owner. Each new game offers a new experience thanks to the ever-changing landscape.
During a game, players face tactical decisions: "Is it worth putting my last meeple there?" or "Should I use this tile to expand my city, or place it near my opponent to make their goal harder?" Since players place only one tile and optionally place one meeple per turn, games proceed quickly despite offering many options and possibilities.
