Researcher Ian travels through unstable rifts in time and space, venturing into deserts, forests, industrial ruins, and anomaly zones to gather resources, craft gear, restore the base, and survive a world overrun by Astrosects and rogue machines. As the investigation unfolds, the links between the Chrono Gem, the swarm disaster, and the Aude Research Institute begin to surface.
