Warlock Joins the Diablo Roster

Blizzard has finally put the rumors to rest – the Warlock class is officially coming to the Diablo franchise. In a surprise announcement celebrating Diablo's 30th anniversary, the developer revealed the demon-summoning class will be available across three different games in the series.
Available Now in Diablo 2: Resurrected
The biggest surprise? Warlock is available in Diablo 2: Resurrected starting today. Players can jump in immediately and experience this new class in the remastered classic, giving long-time fans a fresh way to experience the game.

Coming to Diablo 4 in April
For Diablo 4 players, the Warlock will arrive as part of The Lord of Hatred expansion in April 2025. The class appears to fill the demon-summoning niche that many players have been requesting since the game's launch – essentially serving as a spiritual successor to Diablo 3's beloved Witch Doctor class.
The Warlock's playstyle focuses on commanding demonic forces and dark magic, offering a distinct alternative to the existing summoner options in Diablo 4.
A Multi-Game Rollout
While details about the third game weren't specified in the coverage, Blizzard's decision to introduce the Warlock across multiple titles shows their commitment to expanding the class across the franchise simultaneously.
This cross-game approach allows both veteran players and newcomers to experience the Warlock's demon-summoning gameplay, regardless of which Diablo title they prefer.
Are you excited to try out the Warlock class? Which game will you play it in first?
